Life Drawing

I enjoyed this assignment as I'm more at home putting pencil to paper. Admittedly I found the model awkward to draw, I've never drawn anyone with a physique like his. He was pretty mid heavy and his upper torso lacked tonal definition which I'm used to. Where as I enjoyed the challenge and enjoyed trying out different mediums it was a struggle to draw him looking right. I'm not really sure about correcting a natural formation, like I think if you're going to draw something representational, it should be as it is. I'd usually avoid drawing a picture if it looked wrong. I enjoy drawing in continuous line, though once I start its hard for me to remember to stop and when we're supposed to be drawing 'normal' again keep realising I'm still doing continuous line. Drawing movement!!! Does anyone actually enjoy doing this? I respect when I see an artist has captured it well as I know I struggle with it. Other than that what I'd like to continue to improve on is perspective and scaling. I was well disappointed with my final piece. I'm alright at using pastels or have been in the past but it's been a while and I well bottled it. I used pretty/poppy colours but this totally didn't compliment what I was drawing and the result is it looks a conflicted mess.
